Tonight wraps up The L Word series and I will miss it, even if it has jumped the shark with this season's Who Killed Jenny storyline. I choose to be grateful that Ilene Chaiken created and was able to sell the pilot to the people at Showt!me and I'm happy to have watched it these six years, rather than spend a lot of time wondering what the heck she was thinking when she took the story down the paths she chose over the years.
I do think that Jenny was meant to have everything centered around her and Ms. Chaiken didn't foresee that the Bette and Tina story was going to resonate so heavily with the fans and that Jenny was going to irritate so many! And I also think she was too ambitious with all her storylines about "us". Or maybe it's just that the writing and acting couldn't live up to the story she had in mind. I do think Leisha Hailey as Alice hit on all cylinders in the majority of her scenes. But, it was the B&T story that carried me along in the series and were the central characters, though I did become fond of the friendship between Shane and Jenny, until they messed with it.
They auctioned off the Set of TLW yesterday. I would have bid on Kit's car! Take a look at the following link, there are some funny pictures of what were available . A box of assorted thongs!
Good bye L Word...

I agree with everything you said, dear Clammy. I am sorry to see it end, also, even if it is time.
Maybe they will end up making a movie and maybe, just maybe, it won't be a mess.
The L Word brought me lots of entertainment and a few new friends. I'm not complaining. :}
(By the way, nice to see a blog entry. The other stuff is fine, too, I just like the ol'blog.)
Portar, yes! TLW brought loads of entertainment and more than that, new friends. I will be forever grateful for that. Thanks for being so loyal to my blog. When is yours starting up :)
